BFI Holiday Schedule 2009

The BFI office will be closed on the following holidays

New Year's Day, Thursday, January 1st
BFI office closed and drivers are off.
Tuesday’s scheduled pickup will be on Wednesday.
Wednesday’s scheduled pickup will be on Thursday.
Thursday’s scheduled pickup will be on Friday.
Friday’s scheduled pickup will be on Saturday.

President’s Day Monday, February 16th
BFI office will be closed, however, the trash and recycling collection service will remain the same.

Memorial Day Monday, May 25th
BFI office will be closed, however, the trash and recycling collection service will remain the same.

Independence Day, Friday, July 3rd
BFI office will be closed, however, service schedules will remain the same.

Labor Day Monday, September 7th
BFI office will be closed, however, service will remain the same

Waste collection will not take place on Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year's Day. Collection will occur one day later than your regularly scheduled day.
The BFI office will be closed on:

Thanksgiving (Thursday and Friday, November 26th & 27th), however, the drivers will be working on Friday, November 27th to pick up Thursday’s collection and on Saturday, November 28th to pick up Friday’s collection.

Christmas (Friday, December 25th), however, the drivers will be working on Saturday, December 26th to pick up Friday’s collection.
New Year's Day (Friday, January 1st), however, the driver will be working on Saturday, January 2nd to pick up Friday’s collection.

Residential customers: (Single family dwellings)
Trees will be picked up curbside beginning Monday, January 4th through Friday, January 22nd. Place trees (cut into 4-ft. sections) at the curb or in yard waste carts. "Clean" Christmas trees will only be accepted: Remove decorations, tinsel, lights, wooden or plastic stand.
