| BFI Waste Services would like to
be more than just a business partner to the City of Salinas - we want
to participate in and actively support as many community events as
possible. Our employees not only live, work and raise their families
in this community, but embrace the opportunity to participate in volunteer
efforts throughout the City. Whether it’s walking all night
for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life or educating school
children on the importance of recycling, we are proud to lend a helping
hand.
The majority of our contributions to different special events and
organizations is done through in-kind service (providing all trash
and recycling collection) when applicable. BFI is also proud to
support all community-related non-profit and educational events.
We are privileged to partner with the homes, schools, businesses
and city government to improve the health and safety of the community.
