It is dangerous for BFI to transport hazardous materials and illegal to dispose of them in California landfills.Instead bring your hazardous materials to the Salinas Valley Solid Waste Authority’s household hazardous materials facility at 139 Sun Street in Salinas. Some examples of materials classified as hazardous are as follows:
