HOW DO I SCHEDULE A PICK-UP?

Call Customer Care at 831-775-3840 for a convenient time for pick-up of your bulky items. BFI will pick-up the first item for $64.49 (the cost can include more than one item if total size of all items does not exceed one cubic yard - 1x1x1 ) and $21.19 for each additional item.

Remember, before scheduling a collection, please check with a charitable organization to donate items that can be reused by others.

WHAT TYPES OF ITEMS ARE COLLECTED?

Furniture, mattresses, bed frames and box springs, rolled up and fastened carpeting, small household appliances, furniture, washing machines, refrigerators, stereos and clothing.
No item may exceed one cubic yard. (1x1x1)

WHAT ITEMS WILL NOT BE COLLECTED?

Construction materials, demolition debris, dirt, rock, concrete, large automobile parts, tires and any refuse suitable for regular garbage collection.

TO HELP BFI PROVIDE EFFICIENT SERVICE AND TO KEEP YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD SAFE AND ATTRACTIVE, PLEASE FOLLOW THESE RULES:

Put items out for collection no earlier than the evening before your scheduled pickup day. Bulky items sitting at the curbside for long periods are unattractive in your neighborhood, can be unsafe and can attract illegal dumping.

Remove freon and remove or secure doors on refrigerators. Children have been known to suffocate in refrigerators, unable to open the doors from the inside. Remove the doors, tie it closed or place the door against the ground or a wall to prevent it from opening.

Do not block sidewalks, driveways or roadways.
